E.L.M. Repair & Refrigeration was started by Evan and Mary Lang in 1996, working out of their home garage. This is where Evan came up with the idea of a mobile air conditioning service, since there was none in the area at the time. In 2002, they purchased a small, 3-bay garage in Edgar and renovated it to begin and grow their business.
In the next few years, the business just took off, and they seemed to be busting at the seams, so in 2006, Evan and Mary added an additional 3 bays to the facility. Now with 6 bays, they were able to accommodate semi-trucks, trailers, farm tractors, combines (less attachments), other farm equipment, off-road equipment, and logging equipment. In the facility, there was also a 5 ton overhead crane, which makes it easier to pull out engines for repair.
In 2009, we purchased Mobile Sterli Koni lifts, making it so much easier for our technicians to do full service oil changes, transmission repairs, clutch jobs, and rear end services.
The year 2015 brought great change to E.L.M. Repair & Refrigeration with the construction of a new facility at the junction of Hwy 29 and County Road H near Edgar, WI. A 33,183 square foot facility was constructed to conduct our parts and service operations. 21 bays for trucks and trailers along with a Dynamometer bay and wash bay was constructed. Ample parking and expansion capabilities also accompanied this build. A secure lock up area for vehicles on the back side was also put in place. The capabilities of the new facility are endless.
Tire and alignment and dyno services were also added in 2015 with the new facility. We have become known for our knowledgeable and helpful staff. We create long term solutions for customers.
Our repair shop is fully computerized so that our technicians can easily diagnose an engine problem and efficiently and quickly fix that problem. We also have a 24 hour mobile repair, so if you are broken down on the road, we are able to come to you, and get you going in a timely manner. We are listed in the NTTS Breakdown Directory and come highly recommended for fast, efficient service.

Before opening E.L.M. Repair & Refrigeration Inc., Evan came to this business with 14 years of experience. Evan graduated from Wyoming Technical Institute in 1990 with a vocational diploma in diesel and heavy equipment technology. In 1996, Evan and his wife began doing auto repairs from their own garage. Throughout the years, Evan was able to purchase his own 3-bay facility, which he added another 3-bays in the years to come. The year 2015 brought great change for Evan and the crew at E.L.M. Repair. The construction of a new facility at the junction of Hwy 29 and County Road H near Edgar, WI was the beginning of a new venture. A 33,183 square foot facility was constructed to conduct their parts and service operations. 21-bays for trucks and trailers along with a Dynamometer bay and wash bay was constructed. Ample parking and expansion capabilities also accompanied the build. A secure lock up area for vehicles on the back side was also put in place. Evan also decided to add tire, alignment, and dyno services in 2015 with the new facility. He is proud that E.L.M. has become known for their knowledgeable and helpful staff.
