E.L.M. Repair & Refrigeration was started by Evan and Mary Lang in 1996, working out of their home garage. This is where Evan came up with the idea of a mobile air conditioning service, since there was none in the area at the time. In 2002, they purchased a small, 3-bay garage in Edgar and renovated it to begin and grow their business.
In the next few years, the business just took off, and they seemed to be busting at the seams, so in 2006, Evan and Mary added an additional 3 bays to the facility. Now with 6 bays, they are able to accommodate semi-trucks, trailers, farm tractors, combines (less attachments J), other farm equipment off-road equipment, and logging equipment. In the new facility, there’s also a 5 ton overhead crane, which makes it easier to pull out engines for repair.
In 2009, we purchased Mobile Sterli Koni lifts, making it so much easier for our technicians to do full service oil changes, transmission repairs, clutch jobs, and rear end services.
Our repair shop is fully computerized so that our technicians can easily diagnose an engine problem and efficiently and quickly fix that problem. We also have a 24 hour mobile repair, so if you are broken down on the road, we are able to come to you, and get you going in a timely manner. We are listed in the NTTS Breakdown Directory and come highly recommended for fast, efficient service.
We also have diesel performance products on hand if you need more fuel economy and horsepower. Give us a call, and we can guide you in the right direction as to which product would work best for you.
Before opening E.L.M. Repair & Refrigeration Inc., Evan came to this business with 14 years of experience. Evan graduated from Wyoming Technical Institute in 1990 with a vocational diploma in diesel and heavy equipment technology. In 1996, Evan and his wife began doing auto repairs from their own garage. Throughout the years, Evan was able to purchase his own 3-bay facility, which now has 6 bays and a full staff at hand.
An interesting fact that you may not know about Evan is that he loves to snowmobile and go four wheeling when weather permits, and in his heart he would still love to be in farming.
